"Lovely cottage in beautiful, peaceful surroundings."

Formerly a granary, The Yeoman's Cottage is attached to a grade II listed thatched Devon longhouse. The house itself dates back to the 17th century. In the 1900's the cottage housed a cider press for the apples picked in the orchard. The cottage is south-facing so is blessed with warm sunshine from dawn 'til dusk.

The cottage is in the perfect location for a relaxing holiday or short-break. Beautiful walks are on the doorstep, the beach is a mile away down the valley and the popular town of Salcombe is just a couple of miles distant.

For almost 20 years we have been welcoming guests from far and near, many returning year after year to this wonderful spot.

Whether you are planning a holiday or just a short break, The Yeoman's Cottage is perfectly located in it's own private valley yet remains only a walk or short drive from the lovely estuary town of Salcombe and the local beaches.

The Cottage sleeps three and has been beautifully restored and is comfortably furnished with breathtaking views of the pond and orchard from the main rooms.

The main downstairs room is comprises a kitchen/dining area and large lounge. The kitchen includes dishwasher and microwave oven. A washing machine and freezer are provided in the adjoining boot room.

The large comfortable sitting room has a Smart TV, DVD player and HiFi with iPod dock. Fast broadband WiFi is provided. The cottage has full central heating along with a traditional woodburner for winter breaks.

Upstairs, the cosy main bedroom has a king-sized bed and french doors leading to a mini-balcony overlooking the valley. The bathroom has bath, shower and heated towel rail. The adjoining single bedroom has access to rear of the property.

Outside there's a large patio area at the front of the cottage, sundrenched until dusk, with hardwood furniture and ample parking.
